Here's a look at some of what our Carrier Procurement Representatives do:

• Identify new carriers (trucking companies) to add to the FMI network

• Negotiate rates with carriers • Work with other members of the Carrier Procurement Team to secure the services of appropriate carriers for all freight that needs to be shipped on a day-to-day basis

• Develop and manage a portfolio of national carriers

To be considered, you must have:

• 3 or more years of relationship sales experience

• Experience with 3PL or logistics/transportation is good but not a deal breaker

• Ability to manage multiple projects (multi-tasking is key)

• Detail-orientation

• Excellent communication skills

• A competitive drive

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
